Sudanese in Oxfordshire
A Bridge of Heritage and Innovation
We are a community-based organisation rooted in cultural sociology and social development. Our work spans educational, cultural, recreational, and charitable initiatives, with the aim of preserving and promoting diverse cultural heritages within Oxford’s multicultural setting. We foster intercultural understanding and strengthen social cohesion.
Our mission is to support individuals through educational and training opportunities while facilitating social integration. Through strategic partnerships, we strive to alleviate social inequality, enhance access to education and healthcare, and empower people from all cultural backgrounds.
We invite you to join us in shaping more inclusive and resilient communities across Oxfordshire and beyond. We are committed to contributing to British society through education, culture, and enterprise. Drawing from thousands of years of heritage—evident in the Taharqa shrine at the Ashmolean Museum—and by connecting this legacy with contemporary British life, particularly in Oxford, we enrich the cultural landscape. Through initiatives such as collaborations inspired by Ibrahim El-Salahi’s contemporary art, we continue to add value to British culture.
